Ooralea Waters recently celebrated an exciting milestone in the community’s journey, with a special Soil Turning Ceremony held ahead of our inaugural Community Day.
Hosted alongside project developer SIG Group, RPM, and key stakeholders, the ceremony marked an important moment in Ooralea Waters’ development, recognising the successful delivery of current stages and the strong progress of construction to date.
Representatives from each partner came together on-site to commemorate the occasion, symbolising the start of the next chapter for this vibrant and growing Mackay community.
“It’s fantastic to see Ooralea Waters coming to life. This milestone is a testament to the teamwork and vision driving the project forward,” shared Peter Neale, RPM QLD Managing Director.
The ceremony was also an opportunity to celebrate how far Ooralea Waters has come from the initial vision of a connected, water-inspired lifestyle community to the reality now taking shape on the ground. With construction activity gaining momentum and a thriving neighbourhood beginning to emerge, this milestone reinforces our commitment to creating a place where residents can truly “dive into happiness.”
