It takes a lot of very talented people and a massive, coordinated effort to create a community as incredible as Ooralea Waters.

The team responsible for just that includes developer SIG Group, as well as our sales team at RPM Group, and a number of dedicated contractors (such as Vassallo Construction) and builders, all working in harmony to deliver the infrastructure, services and houses that our residents need.

Bringing The Team Together

There’s nothing like a good team bonding session to align everyone’s efforts. So, on Friday 15th August at the Harrup Park Country Club, SIG Group held a special event for our valued builders and industry partners.

‘Ooralea Waters Connect’ was a relaxed afternoon where the RPM research team shared property market insights, and SIG provided an update on the progress of construction.

But more than that, it was a great chance for all in attendance to connect, build relationships, and develop a deeper understanding of – and appreciation for – the wonderful community we’re building together.

Market Insights

Sales at Ooralea Waters have been amazingly strong, so we knew the market was in great health. But Peter Neale, RPM Qld Managing Director, was able to put some context around that success.

Explaining, “…Queensland’s population grew by 2% last year. That equates to 102,756 new residents – comprised of 56,877 people from overseas and 25,940 from interstate (natural increase accounting for the balance). They all need to live somewhere, and plenty are choosing Ooralea Waters!”

Project Update

SIG Group Development Manager, Jamie Tzamouranis, also provided some background information about the project and updates regarding its construction.

Key takeaways from his presentation included:

• The Bruce Highway entry opening is expected in mid-2026.
• Two Display Homes are now open, with the remaining due early 2026.
• The Commercial Precinct is currently under review.
• The Sales Office will be open in mid-2026.
• 100-150 lots are expected to be delivered each year!

A Positive Response

Daniel Cameron, Assistant Development Manager at SIG Group, was also in attendance, highlighting the importance of bringing together everyone involved with the project.

“Today’s event for the local community is a big milestone for everyone to be together as one,” he said. “The builder partners that are here today, the sales agents and the whole Queensland team have really rallied together and helped launch this project in a very, very short amount of time.

“We’re working with a really trustworthy and reliable community, and that’s what’s really been a major milestone for SIG for this project.”

Now that the channels of communication are open, SIG Group’s plan is to keep them open with further events in the future.
